Is Invoicy Pro completely free to use?
Yes! Invoicy Pro is completely free to use. There are no hidden costs, subscription fees, or premium features. You can use all features without any payment requirements.
Do I need to create an account to use Invoicy Pro?
No account creation is required! Invoicy Pro works entirely in your browser. Your data is stored locally on your device, so you can start using it immediately without any registration process.
What should I do first when starting with Invoicy Pro?
We recommend following these steps:
- 1. Go to the Profile tab and set up your business details
- 2. Add your clients in the Client tab
- 3. Start creating invoices in the Create Invoice tab
- 4. Check the How to Use tab for detailed guides
Invoice Creation & Management
How do I create my first invoice?
Creating an invoice is simple:
- 1. Go to the Create Invoice tab
- 2. Select a client from the dropdown
- 3. Fill in invoice details (number, dates)
- 4. Add line items with descriptions, quantities, and prices
- 5. Apply discounts or taxes if needed
- 6. Add payment methods and notes
- 7. Click "Save Invoice"
Can I customize the invoice template?
Yes! Invoicy Pro offers multiple templates:
- Modern: Clean, contemporary design
- Classic: Traditional professional look
- Minimal: Simple and clean layout
- Professional: Corporate-style design
You can select your preferred template in the Create Invoice tab.
How do recurring invoices work?
Recurring invoices allow you to set up automatic invoice generation:
- Set frequency (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly)
- Define end date (optional)
- Enable auto-generation
- Manage templates in the Recurring tab
This is perfect for subscription services or regular clients.
Technical Questions
Where is my data stored?
All your data is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. This means:
- Your data never leaves your computer
- We cannot access your information
- Your data persists between browser sessions
- You maintain complete control and privacy
What happens if I clear my browser data?
If you clear your browser data (cache, cookies, localStorage), you will lose all your Invoicy Pro data including:
- Business profile information
- Client database
- Saved invoices
- Recurring invoice templates
Important: Always download and backup important invoices as PDF files.
Can I use Invoicy Pro on multiple devices?
Since data is stored locally in your browser, each device/browser will have separate data. However, you can:
- Use the same business profile settings on different devices
- Download invoices as PDF and transfer them
- Manually recreate client lists on different devices
We're considering cloud sync features for future versions.
Privacy & Security
Is my financial data secure?
Yes, your data is secure because:
- All data stays on your local device
- No information is transmitted to our servers
- We don't collect or store any personal data
- Your browser's security features protect your data
You are responsible for securing your device and browser.
Do you use cookies or tracking?
Invoicy Pro does not use:
- Cookies for tracking
- Analytics tracking
- Third-party advertising
- User behavior monitoring
We only use localStorage to save your application data locally on your device.
Troubleshooting
I lost my data. Can I recover it?
If you've lost data due to browser clearing or device change:
- Local data: Unfortunately, locally stored data cannot be recovered once cleared
- PDF backups: If you downloaded invoices as PDF, you still have those copies
- Prevention: Regularly download important invoices as PDF backups
The PDF download isn't working. What should I do?
If PDF generation fails:
- Check your internet connection (required for PDF library)
- Try using a different browser
- Ensure pop-ups are allowed for the site
- Check if your browser is up to date
- Try the "Print" function and save as PDF instead
